A gathering is a group of prayers.

A light is a flare.

A tide despairs.

A coolé rock repairs, crystallinity.

This is Christian.

This is Christianity.

There are times in our lives like a Birthday party when a gathering feels like a prayer of good hope. Not only for the future prerogative of remaining loving friends, but also, it’s past joyful experience and its very happy present nature of meeting, confiding, conciliating, and breaking waves for a good time had by all. The food is delicious, the drinks go down like wine, and thankfully people travel from far and wide to join the prayer gathering. Normal life returns the next day, but like everyday from Church to the High Street there is an inaugural gathering of prayer, people palm’s out, palm’s together, and crossing themselves to stay sane, happy, healthy, and wealthy. To think twice about judgement of another and loving every one of each other’s differing and similar lives.

We hear Hairy Hands on playlist 220818, (Hairy Hands, Are You All the Same, ℗ 2016, Tape Club Records Ltd), calling us into action. So, are we all the same? Or is it differing levels of aptitude for forgiveness, showing compassion for us and others. Well, no we really are all the same, just to varying experiences, perspectives, and amount of solace we get. We are either alone and live with fear we will not meet the ‘one’ or we are already with a brooding family.

So, we can pray to find our other half for that study, post-analytical date on what makes us tick and then we will know if it’s meant to be? For the younger generation, are you more content in your independence than the older generation ever were? So, if we are the same, to a degree, does anything ever change? We were after all fighting for the environment and freedom in the 60’s and 70’s just as we are now. But deregulation regulates us better today, and you can only pray devolution avoids past autocracy and any forms of dictatorship; and allows us to choose. To choose our lives and the stories of our lives, played out in reality.

May we always go humbly on into the future thankful for our assets and endowment. Our forgiveness and prayers and gather all races, creeds and colours to express our own opinion on the Earth. This creation. That’s why we are here! To await the heavens on the ground, God our temple of belonging.
