The Rules of Making

“What we make/ is what we become.”

Architecture is the material manifestation of our lives, our spirits, our souls and ideally our aspirations. Therefore, the Architect holds in their esteem to do the best job they can. However we, as a profession, come up against the constant lack of design direction internationally: because there is inadequate reduction or consensus, too much commerciality; architecture as business. And a building industry that lacks skills to apply past methods of creativity to future born, modern & beautiful works of art: the architecture of an organic art.

If the architect becomes a digital box of his own time, then he has not made an attempt at an organic art, but if the method, material & making are of, his or her own ownership & knowledge: the building is reduced to design itself.

The formal art and the measured process of the students’ ownership of the subject, remembering the subject is not of ownership to them: a life lesson. The Architect’s teaching of the subject, in every school of Architecture, is to provide a theoretical dream of a utopia, that only makes a student want to change the World forever. The subject ‘Architecture’, is a meaningless noun of its own idealism, because there is no grounding in the conjunction of the soul of the student and the lesson itself: “Gods’ heart & spirit, attaining Heaven of themselves, the students’.”

The temporality of Architecture’s nature means at some point it fades away, yet authors live and die with a trace. If an Architect has died, something tells me they are still alive, by way of their making and man’s eternal grace. However, the conscious lack of temporality in life, means while the relativity of both aesthetics & sustainability in the Anthropocene, of whatever consciousness an energy perpetuates in our minds, there is always a beginning and an end, birth and finality; yet Christ is here, in the second coming, the regeneration.

History is where we begin, and so history is where we end. We are making a new regeneration together, under God.

Finally, I understand my purpose as an Architect is to create a dynamic, an ambience of natural beauty, like a sound, I am always inspired to know myself as one of man’s modern shift-makers. A new regeneration today, brings the birth of a new story, through the anthropology of man’s settlement, to respond to: nature & biophilia, design & composition, water & humidity, air-temperature & air-flow, planning & regeneration, sustainability & finer aesthetics; all to attain, Heaven on the ground; denoted in the Lords’ Prayer.

This is the purpose of our time.

“Gods Wisdom: the Origin.”

Amen
